It was the auspicious day of the 1st of May 1985 when the foundation stone of this institution of higher learning in this remote island of the Sunderban was laid.

Since then 34 years have passed .

Infact ours is the story of man's constant struggle against an adverse natural setting .

Hence every page of this website shall unfurl gradually the story of our achievements down the memory lane in the backdrop of this natural adversities.
