Hostel

Our Mahavidyalaya is providing hostel from the remote part of this island as elsewhere on the besis of merit. Since the inspection of the college, the hostel had been established with appreoximately forty seats for boys. Since the inception of our college, the hostel has been established with approximately forty seats for boys. The criteria being distance and merit. The boarders receive stipends from Government that enables them to bear the cost of their studies and boarding.

At present condition of the Boys' Hostel is dangerous so the college authority has stop hostel admission for this year 2019-2020. At the same time initiative for the construction of a new one is in process. A Scheme amounting Rs. 3 crore under BJRCY of the Ministry of Social Justice has been applied through the BCW dept. and the college is dealing with the matter on an urgent basis

There is a certral Girls’ Hostel within the college campus for the scheduled castes and tribes. So, the girl students of our college avail it for themselves and receive financial assistance from Government for their sustenance
