- 4 honours studen’ts in the department admitted in 2018-19 session obtained 60% marks in Semester 1 examination held on December, 2018.
- Animesh Mondal , Part-time teacher, awarded M.Phil degree in Comparative Literature from Assam University, in the year October, 2019.
- 5 honours students in the department admitted in 2018-19 session obtained 60% marks in Semester 2 examination held on June 2019, 2018.
- Supriya Mondal has managed to score 84% marks in semester 2 examination held at June, 2019 and stood first in the college. She was also obtained highest marks in Semester 1 examination in the college.
