About the Department

The teaching of Geography in the college as a General and Honours subject was initiated in 1995 and 2000 respectively. Presently, the intake capacity is 67 students for General and 50 for Honours course. The Department has four faculty members, one Assistant Professor and three Govt. approved Part Time Teachers. It is equipped by a rich laboratory having Computers, Software, Satellite Imagery, Survey Instruments and other necessary apparatus as per the curriculum of the university.
